"Ali Aït Mohamed, founder and CEO of ART SERVICES CORNELY. Since the beginning of my career in 1984, my goal has always been to contribute to the development of the sewing and embroidery industry by creating solutions that combine Moroccan authenticity with modern technology. During the lockdown in 2020, the idea of designing an innovative manual embroidery machine emerged, dedicated especially to traditional Moroccan garments, particularly the caftan. It all started with sketches on paper, and after five years of perseverance and continuous work, the vision became a tangible reality. The challenges were considerable, especially when it came to producing spare parts locally, due to the lack of advanced technology and high costs. This led me to establish a partnership with one of the largest companies in Taiwan, which owns a major factory in Shanghai. After several years of remote collaboration, I carried out on-site visits in 2024 and 2025 to supervise production and ensure quality, until the taâsabe ART-CS-19 machine was finally ready for its first public presentation. This achievement is not just an invention; it is a message of national pride. I insisted on registering the intellectual property under the name of the Kingdom of Morocco, both in Morocco and in China and Taiwan, firmly rejecting lucrative offers to sell or rebrand the patent under foreign companies. My ambition has always been to prove to the world that Moroccan inventors are capable of innovation on a global scale. Today, with a clear vision, the mission of the company goes beyond distributing machines: it is about empowering artisans and creators with reliable, high-performance tools that embody quality and excellence. I take pride in the journey accomplished, the trust of our partners, and the dedication of our team. Together, we continue to innovate and expand, proudly raising Morocco’s flag on the international stage, starting with the World Expo in Shanghai in September 2025, where this Moroccan achievement will be presented for the very first time to millions of visitors."
